Tuintje in mijn Hart verwarmde het Tuschinski theater in Amsterdam afgelopen maandag 27 februari met wat Surinaamse zon tijdens een stormachtige dag. De cast schitterde in tropische kleuren op de rode loper, die afgeladen vol stond met pers. Veel BN’ers hadden ook zin in een gezellige avond met een tropisch tintje en kwamen in grote getalen over de loper.
Zanger O-Dog gaf iedereen een warm welkom en praatte de avond op een humoristische en heerlijk chaotische wijze aan elkaar. En de sfeer werd alleen nog maar beter na het zien van de film. Na het slotapplaus en het dankwoord werd de titelsong ingezet en verliet iedereen dansend de zaal. Tijdens de borrel werd het Surinaamse feestje voortgezet met lokale hapjes en drankjes en aan het einde van de avond ging iedereen vrolijk gestemd huiswaarts.
SUMMER IS IN THE AIR DURING THE OPENING NIGHT OF TUINTJE IN MIJN HART
On Monday, 27 February 2017, TUINTJE IN MIJN HART raised the temperature in the Amsterdam Tuschinski theatre with some Surinam sunshine on a stormy day. The cast came dressed up in tropical colours on the red carpet, surrounded by many reporters from the media. Dutch celebrities also showed up in great numbers for an evening of fun in a tropical setting.
Singer O-Dog welcomed the audience and introduced each item on the programme in a humorous and wonderfully chaotic manner. And the mood got even better after screening the film. After the final applause and a speech of thanks, the title song was played and everyone left the hall dancing. The Surinam party continued with drinks and local snacks, and late at night all went home in a cheerful mood.
