Afgelopen zondag 19 februari was Storm: Letters van Vuur openingsfilm van de 29e editie van het Jeugdfilmfestival in Het Paleis in Antwerpen. Op deze prestigieuze première van de Nederlands-Belgische avonturenfilm kwam ook Prins Laurent en zijn gezin naar de film kijken. Hoofdrolspelers Davy Gomez en Juna de Leeuw glunderden van trots terwijl ze met prins Laurant en zijn gezin poseerden voor een foto. Andere bekende gasten die avond waren Erik van Looy en Kamal Kharmach, die het festival presenteerden. Van Looy was onder de indruk van de volle, enthousiaste zaal met meer dan 500 kinderen.
De film werd enthousiast ontvangen en er volgde nog een gezellige receptie. Het was de tweede keer dat Prins Laurant de opening van het Jeugdfilmfestival bijwoonde.

On Sunday, 19 February 2017, "Storm: Letters van Vuur" was the opening film at the 29th European Youth Film Festival of Flanders in Antwerp. Present at the prestigious first screening of this Dutch-Belgian co-production were also Prince Laurent with his family. Leading actors Davy Gomez and Juna Leo beamed with pride as they posed for photographs with Prince Laurent and his family. Other well-known guests of the evening included Erik van Looy and Kamal Kharmach, the presenters of the festival. Van Looy was impressed by the enthusiasm of more than 500 children in the audience.
The film was well received and the evening was concluded with drinks and snacks. This was the second time Prince Laurent attended the opening of the Youth Film Festival.
